Worlds and Mutations in Drill for Eggs

Worlds and Mutations are the long-term payoff after you start Rebirthing in Drill for Eggs on Roblox. The first Rebirth resets Power to zero, grants a permanent Cash multiplier (commonly 1.5x on the first prestige), and opens the path into extra Worlds from the Worlds menu. Those Worlds hold eggs that can hatch with Mutations — variants that earn more Cash than the plain version of the same pet.

This page is the deep dive. Pair it with Getting Started if you have not finished a first steal cycle, Training Power for rebuild tactics, and the pet tier philosophy once multiple mutated pets compete for farm slots.

What a World actually changes

A World is not a cosmetic skin. It changes the route you drill, the guardians you must outrun, and the egg pool you can steal. After a Rebirth:

  1. Open the Worlds menu and teleport only when your drill and Speed can handle the new zone pressure.
  2. Treat the first visit like a scout run — clear a safe egg, escape, place, hatch — before greed-farming rare rolls.
  3. Re-stock Speed on the green buttons near your base before every hard World steal (steal eggs).
  4. Buy the next affordable drill when the Cash notifier appears (drills) so dig time does not erase your multiplier advantage.

Exact World names and unlock order can shift with Crazay Future patches. Confirm teleports in the live client and track changes on the Updates Hub. Do not trust screenshots from unrelated egg-steal games.

What Mutations do for your farm

A Mutation marks a pet outcome that earns more than the base form. Mutated pets still sit on your farm, still pay offline Cash, and still fill Index entries when they are first unlocks. That makes Mutations a dual win: higher Cash per second and more Index claims.

Practical rules:

  • Prefer a mutated mid-tier pet over a plain pet that only looks rarer in screenshots.
  • Claim Index rewards the moment a mutated species unlocks for the first time (Players).
  • Keep farm slots honest — a mutated pet that never gets placed earns nothing.
  • After each Rebirth, rebuild Power first, then hunt Mutation eggs; starving Power for chase clips slows everything.

We do not invent Cash/s tables here. Live rates move with patches and multipliers. Use the in-game pet card and your own farm total as the source of truth, then use this wiki for planning order.

Rebirth → World → Mutation loop

Use this sequence every prestige cycle:

  1. Hit the Rebirth threshold when pets already earn and you can rebuild (Rebirth guide).
  2. Take the multiplier, accept Power at 0, and park in auto-train while Cash stacks.
  3. Restock Speed, buy the next drill notifier, then enter the newly available World.
  4. Steal, escape, place, hatch — prioritize eggs that can roll Mutations once you can clear the zone cleanly.
  5. Claim Index, reinvest Cash, and only then stretch for harder World eggs.

Skipping step 2 or 3 is how players lose eggs to guardians and blame the World. The map is harder; your prep has to match it.

Index and collection goals

Worlds expand the Index. First-time unlocks still pay once. After Rebirth you will see new silhouettes — fill them deliberately instead of repeating the same starter egg forever. Collection progress also tells you whether Mutations are actually landing or whether you need more Power and a stronger drill before forcing rare zones.

For farm layout, offline Cash, and Speed pad habits, stay on Players. For Speed-focused escape prep before World runs, use Speed and Index.

Common mistakes

  • Teleporting into a new World with starter Speed and a weak drill
  • Rebirthing with empty pet income, then blaming Mutations for slow Cash
  • Ignoring Index claim flashes after a mutated hatch
  • Comparing your farm to a multi-Rebirth showcase video filmed days later
  • Using scripts that auto-buy drills while you meant to bank Cash for a World push (Scripts — ban risk)

Session checklist for Worlds

  1. Confirm Rebirth multiplier is active and pets are placed.
  2. Train Power (manual LMB or auto-train).
  3. Stock Speed; buy the drill notifier if it is on.
  4. Enter one World zone you can finish.
  5. Escape, place, hatch, claim Index.
  6. Decide: another safe egg, or wait for more Power before a rarer Mutation hunt.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

When do Worlds unlock in Drill for Eggs?

Worlds open through the Rebirth path. Take at least your first Rebirth, rebuild Power and Speed, then use the Worlds menu in the live client.

Do Mutations earn more Cash than normal pets?

Yes. Mutated pets are designed to out-earn the plain version of the same species, and they still contribute Index unlocks and offline Cash when placed.

Should I hunt Mutations before my first Rebirth?

Focus on a clean Power → steal → hatch loop first. Mutations become the priority once Rebirth multipliers and World access are online.

Where do I claim rewards for new mutated pets?

Open the Index after a first-time unlock and collect the one-time reward. Details live on the Players hub.
