Drill for Eggs Best Drills Progression
Spend Cash on the next meaningful dig upgrade — Diamond, Electric, and beyond — without a fake price table.
Drill progression in Drill for Eggs
Drills are the hardware half of Drill for Eggs on Roblox. Power decides how hard you swing; the equipped drill decides how that Power translates into clearing earth and reaching guarded egg zones. A weak drill turns every trip into a chore. A timely upgrade makes steals shorter, Rebirth thresholds closer, and farm restocks faster.
This page is the drills branch of the Tier List Hub. Pair it with pet rankings, training Power, and steal eggs. Beginners should still finish Getting Started before chasing late-shop cosmetics.
What a better drill actually buys you
- Faster earth clear for the same Power investment
- Access to deeper or tougher egg zones that were impractical on the starter tool
- Shorter time-to-threshold for Rebirth because training sessions convert into zone clears more often
- Less frustration when you are practicing guardian escapes and need another egg attempt quickly
Drills do not replace Speed. You still tap the green Speed buttons near base and outrun guardians on the way home. They also do not replace pet income — Cash for the next drill still comes from hatched pets on the farm, including offline earnings described on Players.
The Cash notifier rule (your real tier list)
Drill for Eggs surfaces a notifier when you can afford the next drill. That prompt is the progression bible. Open the Drill Shop when it appears, buy the upgrade, and get back to digging. Sitting on a huge Cash pile “for later” while you struggle in a zone your next drill would trivialize is the most common early mistake.
We intentionally do not invent a full price table. Costs move with economy patches, Rebirth timing changes how fast you refill Cash, and community spreadsheets go stale within days. If a guide lists exact Cash for every tier as if it were permanent law, treat it as a snapshot only. Your live notifier plus the shop preview are authoritative.
Named milestones: Diamond and Electric
As you climb the Drill Shop you will encounter stronger named tools, including Diamond and Electric drills among other upgrades. Think of them as mid-ladder checkpoints rather than secret endgame exclusives:
- Before Diamond-class power: focus on never skipping a notifier purchase. Each step should make the current farming route noticeably faster.
- Around Diamond / Electric: you should feel comfortable clearing the zones that feed mid-rarity eggs. If steals still fail, the bottleneck is probably Speed or route discipline, not the drill name on your back — revisit steal eggs and Speed buttons on Players.
- After Electric-class power: evaluate whether Cash should bank toward a Rebirth threshold instead of instantly buying every cosmetic-looking shop entry. The first Rebirth’s 1.5x Cash multiplier makes every future drill cheaper in time, even if the sticker price looks higher.
Exact ordering inside the shop can shuffle; always read the in-game stats (dig strength / reach style wording) instead of memorizing a fan list.
Purchase priority framework
Use this decision tree whenever Cash spikes:
- Is the Cash notifier lit for a drill? Buy it unless you are one Power push away from a planned Rebirth and already dig your target zone fine.
- Are you failing steals because guardians catch you? Spend the next session on Speed buttons and cleaner routes before another drill.
- Is the farm empty? Prioritize a successful egg run and hatch (pets) so income recovers.
- Is Index flashing? Claim first-time rewards on Players — free value that does not compete with the shop.
- Is Rebirth ready? Taking 1.5x (and later tiers) often beats one more incremental drill if Power is already gated.
- Only then window-shop luxury drill skins or side grades that do not change reach.
This framework keeps Diamond and Electric purchases meaningful without pretending we know every Cash integer forever.
Drills after Rebirth and Worlds
Rebirth resets Power to zero but keeps permanent Cash multipliers. Your drill generally remains part of the toolkit you climb with — the point of the multiplier is to repurchase Power time and shop momentum faster. After several rebirths, Worlds open with mutation eggs. A strong drill shortens the commute into those Worlds so mutated pets land on the farm sooner. Mutations out-earn plain copies; see pets.
If a script offers Auto Upgrade Drill (Scripts Hub, ban risk), remember it will spend Cash the moment thresholds hit. That can conflict with a manual plan to save for Rebirth. Toggle auto-buy off when you are banking on purpose.
Common drill mistakes
- Ignoring the notifier for twenty minutes while clicking Power in place
- Buying a flashy drill while Speed is too low to secure eggs from the new depth
- Comparing your ladder to a YouTube Cash/s showcase filmed on a multi-rebirth account
- Skipping Index claims and wondering why income feels stuck
- Assuming codes will bail out a bad shop plan — there are no active codes right now
Session checklist
- Train Power (guide) or park in auto-train.
- Clear a zone, steal, escape, place, hatch.
- Spend on the notifier drill if it appears.
- Tap Speed buttons if guardians are winning.
- Check Rebirth exclamation state.
- Skim Updates after patches in case dig tuning changed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Should I always buy the next drill when the notifier appears?
Almost always yes, unless you already clear your target zone easily and are intentionally saving Cash or Power timing for an imminent Rebirth.
Are Diamond and Electric the best drills in Drill for Eggs?
They are important mid-ladder upgrades players encounter while climbing the Drill Shop, not a permanent endgame ceiling. Keep buying when the notifier and zone requirements say you need more dig power.
Why is there no full price list?
Cash costs change with patches and account multipliers. Publishing a fake permanent table would mislead players; use the live shop and affordability notifier instead.
Do drills matter after Rebirth?
Yes. Rebirth resets Power and adds Cash multipliers, so a strong drill helps you retrain and restock mutation eggs from later Worlds faster.
